Jon Roberts, CPA

I am a licensed Massachusetts CPA (#65803) with a Master's in Professional Accountancy from the University of Texas at Austin. For nearly a decade I worked at one of the world's largest accounting and consulting firms, advising clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to mid-sized nonprofits to two-person partnerships.

In 2024, I left large-firm practice to work with individuals, small businesses, and cooperatives. A significant part of my practice focuses on partnerships, cooperatives, and self-governing organizations, which have distinct requirements from both a tax and management perspective. I work to translate financial data into information decision-makers can use.

I came to accounting by an indirect route. I have a BA in History, taught high school, and worked as a self-employed carpenter. Most small business owners are experts in their work but not always inclined to dig into finance and administration. I try to make that part easier.
